I'm a scientist and an educator. And occasionally, I want to say things that I shouldn't say in front of the students. So, here I am.

Counting down...
... one week to Spring Break! And I need it. My computer at work is not functioning, the pile of grading is growing ever larger, and the students have that look of "please, let me go to the beach." Mmm... beach...
Hang in there!! You'll make it. I've made it, but just barely, and there's the pile of grading just waiting for me to do during the break. But boy were ALL the kids (myself included) ready for this one.
Breaks are not JUST for the students. I have to temper my enthusiasm for them so as to not turn LB off of school, but he seems to enjoy them too, and was quite ready for this one.

ReplyDeleteThe students are usually disturbed by how eager I am for breaks. I DO have a life, ya know! Enjoy yours!
