Two years

Yesterday marked two years of being on Weight Watchers. I haven't made much progress since last year, but I did attain my goal of losing 50 lbs on September 26, 2005 and have kept that off (and then some) ever since. Overall, I'm quite pleased.

I'd like to lose a little more weight. I'm still closer than I'd like to the recommended upper limit on weight for my height. Things are going very slowly, though. All my fault, not the plan's. I've been having some discipline issues the past few months. I like soda. French fries...oh, how I love french fries! And if I ever go missing, look for me in a large vat of peanut M&Ms. I'll get back on track, I will. I can do it.

For posterity, here's me in August 2004, compared with me this morning. I don't know which chick looks more like a stranger to me.

Cool -- you rock. And you inspire me (I've fallen off the WW wagon of late -- must start eating better, now!).

Keep it up!

Whoo whoo!

Thanks, Mike. I'm going through a rough patch myself, but we can do it!

It goes easier sometimes and harder sometimes, but the important part is not giving up completely and not beating yourself up when you're not doing perfectly well.

You look great!!

Two things:

1) You look, and are, awesome! (okay, maybe three things)

2) That being said, and please don't take this the wrong way, it's still so weird to see recent pictures of you. This version of you really IS a stranger to me (unfortunately).

3) Good luck with the continuing. I don't know where you're getting the recommended height/weight combos from, but if it's from the BMI chart, I would take that with a HUGE grain of salt. Personally, I think the BMI is a joke.

Randy! I'm sorry we don't see each other more often, so that I don't look like such a stranger to ya. As for the weight guidelines, I'm using Weight Watchers recommendations, not strictly based on BMI. My doctors are pleased. Hugs!
