Maintaining

One year ago today, I reached my 50-lb weight-loss goal. I've been at a 50-lb (or more!) loss ever since. One whole year of being a healthy weight. One whole year of not being a fat chick. Still, I want to celebrate with cake. :)

Sure you can have some cake! Just don't eat 50 pounds worth!

Congratulations!!

Both of you know that I could SO eat 50 lbs of cake. Mmm...cake for dinner!

Wow -- congrats! You're an inspiration!! (I've fallen off the bandwagon a bit, thanks to Real World stresses all year, but I'm back on again, I hope.)

Ah, Mike, I've fallen off the wagon quite a bit recently myself. But I'm back on now, and I'm glad.

...mostly. I can not rid myself of this pernicious cake craving! :)

More power to you!

*wishes for cake*

I'm still wishing for cake, too. It will become my mission this weekend, to find that perfect cake. :)

I agree with the Kirsten diet:

eat the fattening foods, but you have to make sure they are GOOD fattening foods.

In other words, you can have cake, but you have to wait/search for GOOD cake. Hostess cupcakes don't cut it...
unless they do.

Hostess Cupcakes and Suzie Qs dominated my Friday nights as a teenager, as opening any of my old books will attest. I don't know what that cake is made out of, but the crumbs last forever!

Had some lemon cake last night - good, but still not what I am craving. The search continues.
