I'm a scientist and an educator. And occasionally, I want to say things that I shouldn't say in front of the students. So, here I am.
Really, would it ever be possible to get bored of images of Saturn?
I had to switch the location of our last edu-larp game from Titan to Io. The writer had volcanoes and methane oceans, but cryovolcanoes was never mentioned, and I couldn't bear the possibility of our game permanently scarring a sixth grader's mind that hot lava was cascading around Titan. This bummed me out, because I found some great images from Cassini-Huygens, and even printed out the map of Titan on glossy paper (two of them!).Anyway, I thought of you the whole time I was working on that mission-lesson.
Aw, nifty, dude! Let me know if you have any phys/astro questions while you develop your lessions.
