I'm a scientist and an educator. And occasionally, I want to say things that I shouldn't say in front of the students. So, here I am.
I am thankful for my friends and family.
I am thankful for my health.
I am thankful for my work.
After yet another drive across the desert, I am thankful for peanut M&Ms and judicious use of caffeine.
I am thankful for beauty.

We didn't make it to Kevin's. I forgot to add to my list, "I'm thankful for holidays which allow me to go to sleep before I'd normally be home from work!" :)
