Annoyed

I'm still sick, so I decided to sleep in and then curl up on the couch and read all day. It was a good plan that has more or less worked, except that the phone keeps ringing with pre-recorded election crap. There are several propositions on the ballot here that I feel very strongly about, so I will vote on Tuesday, but between these incessant phone calls and all of the negative TV ads, I now have more sympathy for the people who ignore the election altogether.

We don't have tv (yadda yadda) and this is one of the times of the year when I'm very glad about this, because of the election ads. Most of them would make me spit with fury, I expect.

Feel better!

Thanks, Sarah!

Today one of the ads, I swear, just said that the other guy owed money to someone else. Will they please talk about issues?!

Slashdot just covered how to sue the phonebanks if they don't follow certain rules, to the tune of $500/call. Feel like heading to small claims court?

The sad thing is that most of these calls are from the party I'm most likely to vote for - they smell blood in what is usually a wasteland for them. No incentive to sue, but yesterday when I was trying to nap, I might have been tempted.
