Winter request

For those of you who think that winter never comes to Arizona, here are a few pix from our weekend in Flagstaff:

That mountain has a rock on Mars named after it:

Glittery snow:

I don't usually ask for love, but I have a cold and need to catch a flight to a conference in the morning. Please send healing vibes to my eardrums!

Ow. May the flight go easy on your ears and your cold.

Thanks, guys - it seems to be helping!

(And yes, I am a scientist, but sometimes emotional comfort just has higher priority.)

Happy flight to you. Sending warm cocoa, super yummy, super-duper healing, with extra whipped cream and no calories to you!!

I hope the conference is good and that the trip goes/went well-when were you going?

Thanks to all the warm wishes and a backlog of planes flying into SeaTac allowing a slow gentle descent, my ears and I have safely made it to Seattle.

Thanks for all your help! :)

Ha! I do recall seeing snow on the mountains during spring - so pretty.

I felt better today, but not quite at my best. Good thing my presentation isn't for a few more days yet!
